About Berg Backpackers
Situated on a working farm called Glen Gray, 7 km outside of Winterton, at the same access gate as Drakensberg Bush Lodge and Drakensberg Ballooning. Our backpackers have two types of rooms available, 8 quadruple and 2 double rooms, the quadruple rooms are more budget orientated and more of a dormitory setup, the double rooms are a bit more private and about 600m from the main backpackers building. All our rooms feature a private bathroom. Parking is public and uncovered.

Backpackers
Very basic up-market backpacker accommodation. Communal Kitchen, Communal Lounge. Private Bathroom featuring a shower.
Tri- Bunk bed- Double at bottom and single for child on top
Separate single bed for adult or child.
No laundry facilities.
Farm Cottage
Double bed or 2 Single beds, with a TV enabled with DSTV, kitchenette and an en-suite bathroom, shower only. Wifi Available. No Laundry facilities.
Rooms serviced once a day by request only, limited during certain days/seasons
Guest Farmhouse
Rustic Farmhouse with spectacular views of the majestic Drakensberg, rooms are uniquely furnished and makes you feel right at home.
The house features, 3 bedrooms, 1 en suite bathroom, 1 shared bathroom with bath only Large park-like gardens
