Shepherd's Fold Stables

Just a stone's throw away from the Cradle of Humankind lies Shepherd's Fold Stables - where you can escape the city and relax in nature on horseback. We offer short or long trail rides, through stunning valleys and rivers, bird sanctuaries, and bushveld, right to the top of the hills overlooking Elandsdrift through to Hartbeespoort.

Our trails are suited to either beginner or competent riders. Well schooled, experienced horses make this a wonderful and relaxing way to see nature at its best.

All rides are supervised by experienced trail staff. Group bookings welcome.

We do have a weight restriction of 90 kg.

Booking is essential.

We are open 7 days a week from 8.00 to 5.00.
