About Riverman Cabin
Nestled in the beautiful valley of Tonteldoos, Riverman Cabin Country Lodge is the perfect place to exchange traffic for donkeys lazily grazing, rushed lunches for a picnic in nature and city noises for an evening song, sung by crickets and orchestrated by frogs, a surplus of fresh country air and wide-open spaces. Riverman Country Lodge is situated in the Tonteldoos Valley, +-30 km northeast of Dullstroom, which is approximately a 3-hour drive From Johannesburg.
7 Charming and quaint Cottages and Cabins are located throughout the farm with variety of twin and family cottages that can accommodate a total of 28 guests. Each fully furnished and equipped for a homely self-catering experience, an open planned design with a cosy indoor fireplace for the chilly evenings and private outdoor braais areas with a complimentary supply of wood stock for your first night’s stay.
Explore the farm on foot or Bicycle and take some time to appreciate the captivating beauty of your surroundings on our nature walks, Enjoy a quiet afternoon fly or bass fishing experience, discover our wattle walk through the woods and some secret trails throughout the farm, or simply just relax with a cup of coffee on your patio watching the sunrise.

Accommodation Options
Golden Cabin - Double
Golden Cottage has a Queen size Post Bed, bathroom with shower, equipped kitchenette with gas stove, Microwave and Fridge/Freezer. Known to be our romantic Cottage. Snuggle near the indoor fireplace, or laze on the grass patch overlooking our pond.
Fly Inn cabin - Double
This quirky and vibrant cabin will tickle your senses and leave a smile in your heart. It is perfect for a couple wanting a quick break and/or a couple traveling with a small child. Fly-Inn is has a Queen bed in the bedroom and additional sleeper couch.
Rainbow Cabin - Family
Rainbow is ideal for a family or group – it has 4 bedrooms (2 Double beds, 1x Queen and 1x King with two Bunks on the staircases landing, 2 Bathrooms and Large Kitchen, Living and Patio area overlooking our Bass pond and Mountain Range.
Brown Cabin - Family
Brown Cabin is a larger cabin and can sleep up to four people. The cabin has a Queen bed in the bedroom and two single roller beds in the living area. The kitchen is fully equipped and the lounge area boasts a lovely Dover stove with private patio/BBQ,
Dragonfly Cabin - Double
This cabin has a double bed, bathroom en-suite with shower. The kitchen is well equipped with gas stove, microwave etc. The private patio is equipped with a portable braai overlooking our Trout Dam and is fenced off with private garden.
Pheasant Tail - Double
Decorated in a true country style with stunning view from the patio and the cosy fireplace makes for a romantic breakaway. This cabin has a double bed and an en-suite with a shower with private fenced off garden.
Wiggly Stone Cabin - Family
This beautiful wooden cabin has two bedrooms – one with a double bed, one with two single beds and a sleeper couch in the living area, fully equipped kitchen and fireplace with large patio overlooking the nature at its best.
