About Moonriver Bush Bungalows

Moonriver Mountain Retreat is nestled on the edge of a large secluded valley, in the heart of the malaria-free Waterberg Biosphere of Limpopo, South Africa and is the part of Waterberg Bushveld Retreat, which is open to the public. Moonriver is a self-catering/self-service establishment, 2 ½ hour drive from Pretoria. It offers guests spectacular views of the amazing valley and surrounds, as well as interesting walking or strenuous hiking for the fitter visitors! During Summer, there are numerous springs and water streams to explore in different valleys, with abundant wildlife, birds and flowers.
