About Malapo Country Lodge
Malapo Country Lodge is a country escape which is professionally and passionately run, taking pride in providing quality South African country hospitality. Being owner managed and hands-on at all times, our guests are assured of personal dedicated service and attention to detail on all levels. Malapo Country Lodge is set in beautifully manicured gardens and the original farmhouse building forms the focal area of the lodge. This 103-year-old building has been renovated and houses the public areas and facilities. The best time to visit Malapo Country Lodge for an Astro Safari, is at New Moon. This means that the moon is not visible. During this period, viewing of deep space objects is optimal as the big light bulb in the sky (the moon) has been "switched off".
