Bushveld Retreat combines a real bush experience with comfort at an affordable price.
This charming 430 hectare Private Game Reserve is situated 300 kilometers north of Johannesburg in the Limpopo province near the little town of Vaalwater in the heart of the malaria free ‘Waterberg Biosphere’.
The eco-friendly park is a diamond in the wilderness where people can enjoy the luxury of silence. Lots of game like zebra, giraffe, kudu and wildebeest are roaming free in the reserve. There are no predators in the park. You can safely walk with the antelope and enjoy the savannah landscape.
At Bushveld Retreat guests can play tennis or relax at the Hydro and have a full-body massage, sweat in the sauna or bath in the Jacuzzi while enjoying the tranquility of the African bush.
Take a game drive at Bushveld Retreat or at the exclusive Welgevonden Private Game Reserve where you can spot the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino). For children there is a giant chess, children’s pool, mini golf and a jungle gym.

Large Lux Lodge Tent
Double bed and 2 single beds En-suite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. Electric lights with electricity point. Private outside fireplace and braai/BBQ facilities. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge and stove running on gas
Bush Cottage
2 Bedrooms, 1 with double bed, and the 2nd room with 2 x single beds, bathroom with bath, outside shower, fully equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave and stove. It also has an outside braai with a view of the waterhole.
