About Kaapsehoop Adventures

Kaapsehoop Adventures main camp takes you back to basics; this means - no electricity. We will ensure that you have warm water via our large "donkey" boiler early morning and evening. Light is generated by solar panels, candles and gas lamps. There are braai facilities available, as well as gas refrigeration and cookers. Wood is for sale at R20 a bag for those night time stories by campfire. Guests may also pick seasonal, organic vegetables from our garden.

Our 5 rooms can sleep 24 people. Linen is provided, guests just need to bring their own towels. Three of the rooms have a double bed and two single beds, sleeping 4 people. There is a "dormitory" style room with a double bed and 4 bunker beds. For the romantics, we have a room with a queen sized bed and a fireplace - guaranteed to provide a little sparkle ......

Kitchen and braai facilities are communal. We also have communal ablution facilities, with separate toilets and showers. Crockery, flatware, glasses are all provided, and the area is serviced regularly i.e. dishes are washed, and all communal areas are tidied.
