Built in 1859, shortly after the town’s establishment, this elegant Edwardian guesthouse boasts a rich history and a well-earned reputation for personal service and attention to detail.

The Lodge offers a choice of 19 thoughtfully appointed rooms, including 10 Classic Rooms, 2 Garden Suites, 1 Orchard Suite and 3 modern apartments with two-bedroom suites - perfect for both overnight stays, longer getaways and for families. Each room is designed for comfort and relaxation, featuring air conditioning, heaters, hairdryers, and thoughtful touches such as complimentary Muscadel (a local specialty), mineral water, and fresh fruit.

Guests can unwind with a refreshing dip in the pool, enjoy a leisurely game of boule, or relax in one of the lounges and in the bar. Dining is an integral part of the Mimosa experience, with The Restaurant at Mimosa Lodge renowned for its wholesome cuisine, crafted from fresh, locally sourced seasonal ingredients. Many of the vegetables and herbs used in the kitchen are grown in Mimosa’s own garden.

Classic Room
The 10 Classic Rooms are situated in the main building dating back to 1859. Each room is individually decorated and combines old world charm with todays modern luxuries. All rooms are en-suite with a shower.
Orchard Suite
The Orchard Suite is a one-and-a-half studio room which is pure luxury. It has its own private champagne pool, balcony, tea & coffee making facilities and Wi-Fi. The bathroom is en-suite with a corner bath and double shower.
Garden Suites
The two Garden Suites are situated in the garden with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Each room has its own patio and en-suite with a separate bath and shower.
Luxury Suite 2 Bedroom
All Luxury Suites are situated in the the garden with spectacular mountain views. Some are ground floor with its own garden and some on the 1st floor with a patio or balcony.
Premier Suite 2 Bedroom
Our Premier Suite is pure luxury. Situated in the Garden and on the 1st floor it has a panoramic mountain view. With large open plan lounge and stackable doors to the patio.
