About 360on62 Mountain View Farm Cottages

360on62 offers comfortable self-catering farm cottage accommodation with 360-degree mountain views on a farm just 7 kilometers outside of Montagu. A mere 2 hours drive from Cape Town brings one through the stone portals of Cogmanskloof to the Little Karoo and the charm of Montagu. This historic village lies in a fertile valley enclosed by the Swartberg and Langeberg mountain ranges.

Our 5 cottages are sensitively restored farm labourer cottages. The restoration process of the cottages was executed with great attention to detail in order to maintain an authentic flavor. The cottages are unpretentious but elegant and are well-equipped with quality linen, crockery and cutlery, as well as a gas cooker and microwave for indoor cooking. Each cottage has its own braai (barbecue) facility on its patio as well as an area to relax, soak up the sun and enjoy the sounds of nature. Cottages all have either an outdoor hot-tub, outdoor bath-tub and/or an outdoor shower. Details of each on our website.

The cottages, purposefully, do not have TVs so as not to to distract you from the sounds of birdsong, or the distant calls of jackals and foxes. Spotted eagle owls and Cape eagle owls are also often seen and heard at the cottages.

Pale Chanting Cottage
This private, comfortable cottage sleeps 2 in a queen bed. The kitchen has huge fireplace and is nicely equipped. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. An outdoor patio contains a braai (barbecue), an outdoor bath-tub as well as a wood-fired hot tub.
Bokmakierie Cottages
Bokmakierie sleeps 2 in a double bed and has a Victorian bathtub in the bedroom. A toilet is discreetly hidden behind reed-clad walls. There is an outdoor barbecue / braai, a comfortable patio with outdoor shower / toilet and a wood-fired hot tub for 2.
Fish Eagle Cottage
Fish Eagle has 2 bedrooms; one with a double bed & the other with 2 singles. It has both an indoor bathroom (shower) and outdoor bathroom (shower and bath). There is a kitchenette & indoor fireplace. Outdoors there is a bbq, fire pit & wood-fired hot-tub.
Nonnetjie Cottage
Nonnetjie sleeps 4. The main room has a double bed, Victorian bathtub and a discreet toilet behind reed-clad walls. The second room has twin beds. There is an outdoor bbq on one side and a comfortable patio with outdoor shower and toilet on the other.
Honeymoon Cottage
Comfortable and romantic self-catering cottage that sleeps 2 in a queen bed. The bathroom has a bath-tub, shower and spectacular mountain views. There is a small kitchenette, comfortable patio and bbq / braai area & outdoor wood-fired hot tub & shower.
Olive Moon @ The Farmhouse
A large & private comfortable air-conditioned 2-sleeper unit at the original farmhouse. Open plan, king/twin beds, kitchenette & fireplace. Extra outdoor shower / bath and wood-fired plunge pool. Private entrance, braai & outdoor cooker. With parking.
Elsje's Corner @ The Farmhouse
A comfortable, 2-sleeper unit at the original farmhouse. Open plan living with king or twin beds, fireplace, indoor kitchenette with braai / gas burners on the patio. The unit has an outdoor wood-fired tub and private entrance / parking.
Plover's Nest @ The Farmhouse
