About Hebron Haven Hotel
Hebron Haven is a charming old lady, with the original homestead being built in 1843 and accommodation rooms started to be added around 1923.
The property stretches down to the Umgeni River and has wonderful vistas of forest and farm land. The birdlife is spectacular with the fish eagle calling from the river and the Knysna Lurie coming to check whats going on. We also have a pair of spotted eagle owls, an abundance of weavers, hoopoes and many more and our current birding list sits at 80 and growing daily. Take a leisurely walk through the veld and quietly observe the duiker feeding and other buck, totally unperturbed by the interruption of a human - it is amazing - or sit on the veranda and watch the birds, relax and unwind a privilege to be a part of.
