About Beacon Vlei Guest Farm
Five charming self catering dwellings exist on the farm, The Boat House, Crane Cottage, Otter Cottage, Rose Cottage and Heron Cottage. Guests need not leave the farm to enjoy Bass fishing, birding, boating or a picnic after a leisurely walk around beautiful Beacon Vlei. Other outdoor activities that can be arranged in the surrounding countryside include, mountain biking, horse riding, canopy tours, battlefield tours and even paragliding.

Accommodation Options
Crane Cottage
Consists of two king bedrooms both en suite with showers, a large open plan kitchen, dining room and living room. It has a large fireplace, a double sleeper couch in the lounge and Dstv. It comes equipped with braai facilities.
Otter Cottage
Consists of two king bedrooms both en suite, one of the bathrooms has a large walk in shower and the other bathroom has a bath and separate walk in shower. Open plan kitchen, dining and living room which opens onto the verandal. Fireplace and DSTV.
Rose Cottage
The cottage consists of two bedrooms, an open plan kitchen, dining and living room which open out onto a covered veranda. The cottage is set back 40 meters from the water and looks onto a private garden. The cottage comes equipped with braai facilities.
The Boathouse
The cottage consists of a king bedroom en suite which has panoramic views over the dam. Fully equipped kitchen, a large open plan living/ dining room which has a big Jetmaster fireplace and Dstv. Two single beds in an alcove in the living room.
The Family Room
It consists of two bedrooms separated by a door and one private bathroom. One room has a king sized bed, and the other has 2 single beds. The room comes equipped with a small bar fridge and Tea & coffee making facilities.
Heron Cottage
The cottage consists of two king bedrooms both en suite. The central room is an open plan kitchen, dining and living room which opens out onto the veranda looking over our 23 hectare private dam. The central room has a large face brick fireplace and Dstv.
