About Nhongo Lodge
The enchanting thatched Nhongo Lodge offers accommodation in the heart of the African bush, situated within the 3000 HA Marloth Park Reserve adjoining the Kruger National Park on the southern border of the Crocodile River . From the nearby Crocodile Bridge Entrance Gate there is easy access to the greater Kruger National Park, but the Marloth Park Reserve itself hosts a wide variety of game that you can enjoy as they roam around the lodge .
Lionspruit is adjacent to Marloth Park and is home to Lion, Leopard, Rhino and Buffalo (Elephants are not present due to the pressure their immense size places on small game reserves – but these animals are plentiful in Kruger). Both Nhongo Lodge and Marloth Park Conservancy are a birdwatcher’s paradise. Visitors have the opportunity to walk along the Crocodile River & view game in the Kruger Park on the opposite bank, as a fence prevents large game from crossing between Kruger Park & Marloth Park.
meals offered in the boma area with a choice of tantalizing wines.
