Thaba Lapeng Mountain Escape offers luxury self-catering accommodation on a farm 10 km from Clarens on route R711, with magnificent views of the surrounding Rooiberg and Witteberg mountain ranges, as well as the Maloti mountains in Lesotho.
The accommodation consists of 3 chalets and 2 rooms, which can accommodate 16 persons in total.

This is a self-catering chalet and is designed on an open plan basis, with a fully equipped kitchen with dining room and lounge.
Bergwagter Chalet
This is a self-catering chalet with a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, lounge and bedroom set out on an open-plan basis (similar to a bachelor unit). It is also fitted with an en-suite bathroom consisting of a bath, shower and toilet.
Môrelyster chalet
This chalet is the biggest of the 3 chalets and serves as our family chalet. It is also self-catering and fitted with a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, lounge and bedroom set out on an open-plan basis (similar to a bachelor unit).
Vuurvinkie room
The room has a queen size bed, with coffee, tea, sugar, milk, rusks being provided and topped up daily. All linen and towels are provided. There are no braai facilities.
