Old Mill Drift Guest Farm is a peaceful mountain paradise. Suitable for singles, families, pets, events or team building trips.
Nestled between the majestic Maluti Mountains, embraced by nothing but panoramic views of peaceful horizons, the crystal-clear waters of the Caledon River, and the swaying grasslands of the Eastern Free State Highlands, lies the Old Mill Drift Guest Farm.
The farm’s fruitful landscape is enclosed in parts by forest and saturated with three natural springs, three dams (summer season only), a few small waterfalls, and various natural pools that will soak the soul of any wary traveller.

FOREST C5
This popular open plan bachelor unit is the sunniest and is
super cosy. Nestled in the top corner of the farm, Forest has the best views, basks in the winter sun and sits next to our horse paddocks. Wheelchair friendly.
ROCK
Luxury suite – extra-length kingsize bed. His and hers shower and bath tub for two. Spectacular views with an outdoor braai area and a verandah from which to gaze across the paddocks over the Calendon river across to the Maluti / Drakensburg mountains.
EARTH L1
This self-catering 4 bedroom lodge is suitable for families, couples or large groups of singles, teams and clubs. Its open plan lounge, dining, kitchen and fireplace makes this a great space for entertaining.

This is our largest campsite which could easily take two caravans or multiple tents.

CAMP WILD
Campers seeking privacy from the campsite may choose a site anywhere within our 665 ha Old Mill Drift farm boundary. Camp next to a stream, up in the mountains or next to our events facilities close to ablutions.
GUARD HOUSE
Charming original historic sandstone building with thatch roof and outside lapa with large fenced lawned garden. This self-catering open plan bachelor unit is the most private cottage on our farm, overlooking the lake and our original historic old mill.
STONE
This character stone building consists of 3 large rooms. It overlooks our dam and boasts spectacular views of the Maluti Mountains. Self-catering dormitory style acc. for large a families or group looking for an affordable, spacious and comfortable stay.
HIDEOUT
Super private, pet-friendly, self-catering unit with great views and outdoor entertainment. Interior fireplace, exterior fire urn, and braai. Huge secure grassed pet enclosure (15 cm bonnox fence so little dogs can get out)
