About Makushu Homestay

The Makushu- Mosholombi Community is a Proud VENDA Community situated in Northern Limpopo. It is close to Mapungubwe National Park (SANPARKS), Zimbabwe Border Post and Botswana Border Post as well as the Kruger National Park Gates (Pafuri, Punda Maria).

Traditional African Homestays South Africa, TAHS-SA provides an immersive cultural experience, allowing visitors to engage with local communities in a meaningful way. Guests can participate in traditional cooking, learning to prepare local dishes using indigenous ingredients, or try their hand at beadwork, an important cultural art form. Dancing and drumming sessions offer insight into the rhythmic heart of African traditions, while beer tasting allows visitors to sample locally brewed traditional beverages often used in ceremonies.
