Jaci’s Madikwe House

Jaci’s Madikwe House is located on the eastern edge of the 75,000-hectare Madikwe Game Reserve. This safari hideaway, showcasing the van Heterens’ love for travel, is peppered with bursts of colour and personality. Ideal for up to 10 guests, the house comes complete with a private chef, housekeeper, waitron, swimming pool, KolKol hot tub, pizza oven, a private game viewing vehicle, and field guide. The main house has four separate bedrooms and an additional double-occupancy suite in the adjacent guest cottage. Guests can enjoy spectacular views into the reserve from the expansive deck, which often provides frequent sightings of elephant herds heading to and from the waterhole, waterbuck grazing under the trees and bushbuck wandering by. Additional amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi access, air conditioning and a selection of local house drinks, including a variety of fine South African wines, spirits, beers and non-alcoholic beverages. Access to Thutlwa Lookout, Main Lodge and Jaci’s Safari Lodge swimming pools are also available. Guests can also enjoy participating in twice-daily private game drives, including sunset/sunrise stops and night drives.
