Palala River Cottages

Palala River Cottages are located in the heart of the Waterberg Biosphere in northern Limpopo. The isolated River Cottage is often visited by Palala's resident rhino and is next to the Palala River. Perfect for a couple, it includes a lounge with fireplace and fully-kitted kitchen. The three Podica Chalets are situated together in a quiet spot, each with an open plan living area and individual braai area. Kingfisher Cottage sleeps a maximum of 10 people, with a comfortable living area complete with a fireplace place and dining table. There is also a plunge pool on the premises.

Visitors are welcome to self-drive with a suitable vehicle or to walk on the reserve. Guided game drives and walks can be booked through Jembisa Lodge and are subject to availability. Game on the reserve includes white rhino, giraffe, Burchell’s zebra, kudu, eland, impala, warthog, bush pig and more.
