Paperbark Lodge

Paperback Lodge is located on the Tala Game Reserve in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. The small, cozy lodge occupies an expansive, open grass area called the Old Farm Barn with spectacular views to the west of the reserve where the wild plains stretch on.

The accommodation offers 12 comfortable and spacious deluxe rooms with simple but charming décor, beautiful wood furnishings, and convenient amenities. The interior venue where all the lodge’s meals are taken has been beautifully restored with a large fireplace, polished floors and fold back windows that allow for natural light and clean ventilation. Additionally, guests can enjoy hearty traditional dinners served under the stars in the unique Paperbark Boma. The pristine rock pool within easy walking distance is ideal a refreshing dip on a hot summer’s day.
