Rockwood Mountain Lodge

Rockwood Mountain Lodge (about a 20 min drive from Rockwood Forest Lodge and about a 10 minute drive to the start of the Karkloof Canopy Tours) is located on the edge of a natural clearing in the forest. Due to its remote location, this eco-friendly lodge makes use of solar power for lighting and gas for all other requirements.

3 bedrooms for up to 6 guests (one king size, 4 single beds). 2 bathrooms (one en-suite with bath only and one sharing with shower only). Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven and cutlery and crockery for 8 people. Heaters in all bedrooms. Insect repellent in all bathrooms.
Soap and shampoo in bathrooms. Towels, linen, duvets and blankets provided.
Tea, coffee, salt, pepper provided. Large entertainment deck with Big Green Egg (charcoal provided). Supply of reference books on the fauna and flora. Viewing deck to Karkloof Canopy Tours a short walk away. iPod docking station. A short drive away from private Jungle Gym/Trampoline area (for exclusive use by Rockwood Guests). A selection of board games is available from housekeeping staff – please request. Accessible with 4×4 high clearance vehicle only. Transfers can be requested prior to arrival.
