Newly renovated Rockwood Karkloof Collection boasts 4 award winning self-catering units, including a luxury 4 bedroomed farm homestead and 2 bedroomed cottage in close proximity, plus 2 very secluded and private wooden forest cabins deep in the heart of the indigenous forest of the Karkloof Private Nature Reserve.
The units are all perfectly suited for relaxing and leisurely getaways for families, friends and couples. Units are close to fresh water, rivers, dams, waterfalls, grasslands, indigenous forest and the famous hiking, walking and mountain bike trails of the Karkloof. Guests enjoy exclusive access to the Karkloof Nature Reserve for hiking, mountain biking, trail running, dam swimming, fishing and the eco-antidote to tech-boom burnout of forest bathing.
Situated in the Kwazulu Natal Midlands on the famous Midlands Meander, just 20 kilometres from Howick, the property is easily accessed from the N3 freeway between Durban and Johannesburg. An hour and a half drive from Durban, a five-hour drive (door to door) from Johannesburg and 40 minutes from Pietermaritzburg.
