In the beautiful KZN Midlands Meander, you will find the Ashton Wold Estate. A country estate with a handful unique individually styled, self catering cottages just off the Curry’s Post Road on the D293.
Surrounded by wildflower meadows, rolling farmland and magical woodlands, we invite you to discover a select country retreat.
Here you can unwind and relax, away from the city rush and your daily stressors. The ideal spot from where to discover what the KZN Midlands has to offer. Bring your mountain bike or kayak, take an early morning run or pack your hiking boots. Beautiful streams and a small waterfall, three dams, lots of birds and wildlife to be seen around the area. Come and relax with a good book and cuddle up in front of a fire. With breath taking sunrises, worthwhile for keen photographers.

Bluestone Cottage One boasts a magnificent vaulted ceiling over the open plan living/ dining and kitchen area. With 2 bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other 2 single beds, both are on-suite. The cottage has a fireplace and electric blankets.
Bluestone Cottage Two
Bluestone Cottage Two boasts stylish living and an open plan living/ dining and kitchen area. With 2 bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other 2 single beds, both are on-suite. The lounge offers a double sleeper couch with underfloor heating.
Brimstone Cottage
Romantic open plan honeymoon cottage. Self-catering, sleeps two, combustion stove in living room, double bed with percale linen and thick towels. Bathroom with a comfortable bath. Kitchen with gas stove, microwave oven and fridge/freezer.
The Gatehouse Cottage
The Gatehouse Cottage boasts a magnificent vaulted ceiling over the open plan living/ dining and kitchen area. With 2 bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other a double bed, plus a single stacking bed, both on-suite.
