Guest Impressions

Kosi Forest Lodge

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kosi Forest Lodge. It is a unique location and a wonderful experience to be in such an isolated destination. The lodge staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the activities and our guide, Jerome, was delightful and very knowledgeable. The food was excellent, very tasty and beautifully presented. It was delightful to hear the hippos at night and the birdlife was great. Our only disappointment was that the pool filter wasn''t working so we were not able to swim but hopefully that will be fixed by now."

Lovely winter trip

"We - my son and me - stayed for three days at wonderful Kosi Forest Lodge. After the funny 4x4 trip to the lodge we enjoyed the outdoor bath, warm welcome and nice tours with the team. Kosi Forest Lodge is a real adventure with all cosiness you want to have. We are looking forward to a comeback."

Portfolio Expert Review
"A fantastic ecotourism experience. On the forest walk the guides amazed us with their local knowledge of plants and trees, and how they are used to cure various ailments. Explore the vast lake system in canoes, and learn about Thonga culture on a boat trip – the fish traps are ingenious. Another highlight was the open-air bath and shower in a reed boma. During dinner beneath the stars and overhanging trees, we were paid a visit by a bush baby."
