Elephant Walk Retreat is situated on the banks of the Crocodile River, just a stone’s throw from the southernmost entrance to the Kruger National Park, Crocodile Bridge Gate.
Accommodation options vary from simple chalets to our more luxurious self-catering log cabins. Elephant Walk Retreat is the perfect base for families, friends, or couples seeking a quiet spot to explore the Kruger National Park. The unique position, right at the Crocodile Bridge Gate, offers guests the prime opportunity to enter the park first thing in the morning. At the same time, its proximity allows travellers to pop back to their chalet for breakfast or rest during the day.
Incredible wildlife and bird sightings can be viewed from the comfort of your patio or deck, allowing you to soak up the tranquillity of the African bush without even having to go on safari. The proximity of the wildlife to the lodge is an exhilarating experience, allowing guests a privileged view as they stroll along the fence line and graze on the river’s banks.

Log Cabin raised on stilts to optimize view over Kruger Park. Main bedroom King size bed and single bed in the same room. Small 2nd bedroom 2 single beds. Fully self-catering. Shower and toilet are en-suite to the Main bedroom.

3 Sleeper Chalet - Ingwe (Unit No. 6)
Thatched en-suite single bedroom chalet with 3 separate beds in the same room. Air conditioned. Patio with braai overlooking Crocodile River. Basic self catering with adjacent shared bush kitchen outside.

Martial Eagle Family Suite (Unit No. 9)
Main bedroom en-suite, has a king size bed as well as a double fold-out sleeper couch in the same room. TV, dstv on the main bedroom. Big glass sliding doors lead out onto the open air deck and kitchen area. 2nd Bedroom en-suite with two single beds.
Bateleur Eagle Luxury Cabin (Unit No. 8)
Luxury Suite Log Cabin. Fully self-catering and air-conditioned.
Main bedroom en-suite, has a king size bed as well as a double fold-out sleeper couch in the same room.TV in main bedroom. Big glass sliding doors lead unto deck with
kitchenette.
Log Cabin - Ndlovu (Unit No. 5)
Log Cabin only one room, en-suite sleeps four persons on a Kingsize bed and a double fold-out sleeper couch in same room. Fully self-catering and air-conditioned. Private under thatch deck. Fantastic Kruger Park & river view.
