About Under Milkwood Chalets
On the shores of the famous Knysna Lagoon, lies a village of timber log chalets amongst majestic Milkwood trees. The tranquil resort offers guests a haven of leisure and comfort, wonderful views of the lagoon and the Outeniqua Mountains in the background.
Each chalet has two bedrooms, a twin and a double room; a fully equipped kitchen with all the modern conveniences such as microwave, fridge/freezer, stove, TV and Le Creuset cookware. Each chalet has its own sundeck and BBQ facilities, and is serviced daily.

Accommodation Options
Waterfront Chalet
Our Waterfront chalets are situated above the beachfront (about 5 metres back from the beach area). All four of our Waterfront chalets enjoy unparalleled views of the beach and lagoon.
Hillside Chalet
The Hillside chalets are situated amongst the Milkwood trees along the slope (about 50 metres back from the beach area) overlooking the resort. Most of our Hillside chalets afford guests panoramic views of the lagoon.
Middle Chalet
The Middle chalets are nestled between our Waterfront and Hillside chalets (10 to 20 metres from the beach area). These chalets don't offer lagoon views.
Curlew Chalet
Curlew is a one-bedroomed chalet with a magnificent view of the lagoon. It can only accommodate two adults.
Please note no kids allowed.
Maerose Hillside Chalet
Maerose is a two-bedroomed hillside chalet that offers magnificent views of the lagoon. Unlike our standard log-cabin style, this chalet has a white-washed interior.
