About The Beach House Leisure Island

The Beach House is a masterpiece of contemporary design. Effortlessly combining the intimacy of a French farmhouse with the relaxed luxury of a sophisticated beach lodge. The architecture and interiors combine European chic with African texture and local wood and stone.

Perfectly situated on exclusive Leisure Island (one of the 2 secure islands on the Knysna Lagoon) with direct access to the beach and waters of the lagoon. Well known for its relaxed holiday feeling guest and residents enjoy the many activities that the island has to offer mingling comfortably as they stroll or cycle the many nature trails and parks. Water activities and bicycles for exploring the local area are available in-house.

The Beach House offers views of the lagoon waters, the famous Heads and the mountains that surround Knysna yet is central to all that the town of Knysna and the Garden Route has to offer.
