About Riverdeck Accommodation
A rustic, river lodge located 7 minutes drive to popular beach, Buffalo Bay and 13 minutes drive to Knysna, Sedgefield and Brenton on Sea. Our river lodge with country and mountain views offers 3 self-catering cottages, 4 beautiful en-suite rooms with a shared swimming pool, as well as a separate backpackers and camping area with shared bathrooms, a self-catering area and various 'braai' facilities.
The Riverdeck Lodge has a large river restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (dinner bookings essential during Winter) as well as a farm stall with crafts, baked treats and hand-made gifts. We offer an outdoor spa (subject to weather), canoes and kayaks, a bar with satellite television and a pool/billiard table, a kids play area, sand art, as well as a dog-friendly exterior area throughout the day. Our restaurant and activities are available daily throughout the year, except for Christmas day. We have wood fires burning daily with warm interior fireplaces during Winter.
Additionally, we also offer a wedding chapel and an events venue. A lovely, tranquil atmosphere for those who enjoy nature, bird watching, hikes, cycling, swimming and kayaking. Located within 45 minutes drive to George, Wilderness and Plettenburg Bay where you'll find endless outdoor activities, bars and restaurants. The Garden Route is a 'must-see'.
