A warm welcome awaits you at Knysna Herons Guest House.

We are situated on the exquisite Garden Route in the Western Cape with its stunning natural beauty. Our tropical garden is visited by numerous bird species which can be observed while simply lounging at the swimming pool. The tranquil settings of our grounds let our guests feel revitalised and invigorated.

All rooms are en-suite with a private patio/balcony leading into the surrounding garden that is frequented by a diverse bird life. Our seven rooms include two family/self-catering units and we offer secure off-street parking. Start your day with an English breakfast together with fresh fruit, juices, yogurt, cereals, toast and preservatives before setting out on any of the many adventures in and around Knysna.

We are a mere 10-minute drive from the famous Knysna Heads, a brisk 10-minute walk from the Knysna Lagoon and only a few minutes’ drive from shops and malls. To top it all: We will gladly make reservations for restaurants, activities and tours.
