About Entabeni Retreat

Entabeni is a small working farm retreat comprising 35 ha in the heart of Knysna. It is 4.5 km from the centre of town and waterfront.


The main house has 7 en-suite, generous, north facing bedrooms with king size double beds and white cotton linen. The bathrooms have both a bath and shower. Fresh towels are provided daily. Each room is equipped with a hairdryer and kettle. The rooms are provisioned with drinking water, coffee, tea, milk and sugar as required. All rooms have a workstation and have access to the Wifi. DSTV is provided in a private lounge.

Breakfast is served in the open plan kitchen, the dining lounge area of the main house which opens onto a wrap-around patio overlooking the pond and Knysna lagoon.

Accommodation Options

Presidential
This is our best room. It is a south facing room (125 sqm) overlooking lagoon. It has its own satellite TV, wood burning stove and separate lounge. The bathroom is en-suite with a walk-in shower and bath and a private toilet & bidet.
Deluxe
This room is a corner, north-east facing deluxe room (65+ sqm). The seating area has two couches and coffee table and there is a separate desk with complimentary internet. The bathroom is en-suite with both shower and bath.
Executive Twin Rooms
Exec rooms are north facing (60 sqm). The king beds can be reconfigured (two single beds by prior arrangement). Each Exec room has a couch and large desk with complimentary WIFI. The rooms have en-suite bathrooms with with both shower and bath.
Standard Double
These rooms are west facing rooms. They are smaller (30 sqm) than the other available rooms but cosy, comfortably and warm in winter.
