About Carpe Diem House
Carpe Diem House is over 170 years old and is one of the original homes of Knysna. It has been decorated with flair and style to create a unique and comfortable space. The apartment has many original South African artworks.
The lounge has wooden floors and high ceilings with a roof fan and a separate additional toilet room with washbasin. It is a lovely room for entertaining or relaxing. It has a double sleeper couch. The bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed and en-suite bathroom (shower only) with toilet and washbasin.
The apartment has excellent security and an enclosed veranda overlooking a small, indigenous, bird-filled garden. A Weber barbecue is available for making charcoal-fired meals.
There is DSTV and high-speed WiFi.
The house is up the road from Knysna's original Anglican Church, Catholic Church, and an evangelical church. It is walking distance to the Methodist and NG churches.
The Gym at the Royal Hotel, down the street, offers daily gym memberships and has a heated pool.
The house is walking distance to town, shopping malls, and restaurants. It is central to all the attractions of Knysna and surrounds.
There is off-street parking for cars and or trailers behind locked gates.
