House Kariega

A spacious, casual, no-fuss stylish home with spectacular views of the Kariega river edging the village of Kenton-on-Sea in the Eastern Cape.

Open the doors wide to invite the outdoors in, sit on the deck and braai with family and friends in the well-equipped space or spend time below, in the garden, around the boma fire pit.

It’s a short walk to the lagoon, the river mouth and the main beach.
The space
This is a casual-living beach house that has been well-designed to protect from the notorious easterly wind.
It is open-plan, with easy-living concrete floors, open cupboards and shuttered bedrooms for security and natural airflow.

It is designed for leisure & comfort.

WiFi router is available - data to be topped up by guest.

DSTV is available in the lounge area - using WiFi.

Domestic services available once a week. But can be arranged daily for the convenience and account of guest.

It is unofficially pet-friendly but no animals allowed on the beds - to avoid linen being damaged.
Guest access
Guests have exclusive access to the entire house and garden - besides the locked room on the very lower level.

There may be the occasional sound of a truck coming past in the distance.

There is open parking available but please do not leave anything valuable or visible in vehicles.

Kenton is a small village so if enthusiastic enough then potentially everything is in walking distance. The local Spar supermarket is 800 metres away.
