Doornkraal Campsite

Doornkraal Campsite is located in the western section of Ithala Game Reserve, offering a rugged outdoor experience close to the Rangers’ station. The campsite provides essential amenities, including gas-powered showers, running water, and braai facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay in the bush. While there is no formal dining, guests can prepare meals in the communal kitchen area shaded with thatch. The surrounding reserve is home to diverse wildlife, including rhinos, giraffes, and leopards, making it an ideal spot for nature enthusiasts. For adventure seekers, a scenic 17km 4×4 trail begins near the campsite, adding to the outdoor experience.
