Emdoneni Lodge with Cheetah Project and Spa, is a place where you will be treated like royalty. Situated on a small game farm, with sand forest vegetation, Emdoneni Lodge is accessible for any visitor who still wants to experience the luxury of a bush environment and also be close to the main attractions such as Hluhluwe/iMfolozi Game Reserves and St Lucia World Heritage Park This intimate and beautiful, multi-award winning lodge is the ideal location from which to explore the wildlife and coastal reserves in Zululand. The owners are hands on running this very successful lodge.

We offer guests elegantly decorated, intimate and comfortable accommodation on a bed & breakfast or dinner, bed & breakfast basis.

The accommodation is enhanced by facilities which encourage our guests to unwind, relax and enjoy the spectacular lodge surroundings, including a boma, swimming pool and sky deck.

Come and be mesmerised by the beauty of our cats at our resident project. We offer educational tours daily, Monday to Sunday with a feeding during the afternoon tour only. No interaction is done with our cats.

Our Spa is a true heaven where guests can escape to a piece of heaven. Our local wildlife are waiting to walk with you on your daily walks. Cannot wait to be your host!

Accommodation Options

De Lux Chalets
Choose to stay in one of our spacious and elegant chalets with a real authentic South African atmosphere. Our chalets can be set up as twin- or double rooms with their own en-suite bathroom. Air-conditioners and fans will keep you cool during the summer months. Tea and coffee making facilities are also available in all the Emdoneni Lodge units.
Rondavels
Stay in one of our African-style, round, thatched roof rondavels. Each rondavel comprises of two bedrooms each with its own en-suite bathroom (with shower only). There is an adjoining door between the two bedrooms, making this style of accommodation ideal for families and especially those travelling with children.
Honeymoon Cottage
The Suite, Windfall Cottage, is privately situated under Marula trees and consists of a lounge with DSTV, romantic bedroom, en-suite bathroom and an outside shower in a privately fenced Boma area. Sit and relax on your own private patio, enjoying your morning coffee or tea whilst listening to the peaceful sounds of nature. In the afternoon, delight in a glass of wine and watch the Zebra, Nyala and Impala roam around the cottage. The Emdoneni Lodge Honeymoon Suite is ideal for honeymooners or those looking for a romantic weekend away.
