The independently owned Windsor Hotel and Self-Catering Apartments stand proudly on the edge of Hermanus’s breathtaking Walker Bay with a panoramic vista featuring the world’s best whale-watching available in most rooms.
Southern Right whales have been breeding and feeding here for centuries (July – November) and our guests have been returning, generation after generation, to delight in this spectacle.
The 120-year-old Windsor, near the town centre and its rich variety of restaurants, galleries and shops, has been modernised but steadfastly retains its family atmosphere with home-from-home hospitality.

Our 3 Bedroom Units can accommodate up to 6 people. This unit has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite to the main bedroom and 1 to share between the other 2 bedrooms). Each of our apartments has a balcony with stunning sea views. Free WiFi and safe parking is available to all our guests. All apartments have a gas braai facility, and are strictly non smoking.
2 Bedroom Self Catering Apartments - Sea Facing
Our 2 Bedroom Units can accommodate up to 4 people. This unit has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite to the main bedroom and 1 for the other bedroom). Each of our apartments has a balcony with stunning sea views. Free WiFi and safe parking is available to all our guests. All apartments have a gas braai facility, and are strictly non smoking.
Sea Village 4 Bedroom Apartment
A new addition to our inventory, this apartment boasts four spacious bedrooms, three of which have en suite bathrooms. Two large living areas, an extensive full service kitchen including washing machine & tumbledrier and a dishwasher. Dining area leading to an outside braai area, as well as a balcony for many afternoon drinks in the african sun.
Sea Village 2 Bedroom Apartment
Another new addition to the Windsor Hotel, this budget friendly 2 bedroom apartment has all the features you need for a relaxed weekendaway. Two bedrooms with a seperate shared bathroom, a lounge and large kitchen area, as well as an outside area for al fresco dining or a braai. Perfectly located just off Marine Drive, a stones throw from the ocean and a two minute walk to the town centre.
