About Mountain View Manor

Mountain View Manor is owner run and managed by Charlise and Geoff Elske who ensure that you experience personalized hospitality. This large house has recently been turned into a unique spacious guesthouse, offering a unique décor theme for each suite and living area, with quality and comfortable furnishings which have all been re-purposed or made by hand.

A key focus is on the bed experience, ensuring that the guests rest will be a great one! Charlise, an executive chef by trade, will ensure that guests taste buds are also kept "very happy" with her unique breakfasts and light meals.

A conference / events room, and on site private Bistro makes this an ideal venue as well for small groups, whether leisure, business or sport.

Geoff and Charlise have more than 35 years experience in the travel and hospitality industries and based on their extensive travels, have designed an experience and amenities that meet the needs of travellers, at value for money rates. This guesthouse is the 3rd property (and expansion into the Western Cape) of the family business.

This ocean side, large double en-suite bedroom, is situated on the first floor in the East Wing. All rooms are individually decorated, with the focus on the "sleep" experience - deluxe beds with cotton linen and goose down duvets and pillows.
The Cospatrick Suite (Green room)
This ocean facing, large double en-suite bedroom, is situated on the first floor in the East Wing. All rooms are individually decorated, with the focus on the "sleep" experience - deluxe beds with cotton linen and goose down duvets and pillows.
The Arniston Suite (Orange room)
This mountain facing, large double en-suite bedroom, is situated on the first floor in the East Wing. All rooms are individually decorated, with the focus on the "sleep" experience - deluxe beds with cotton linen and goose down duvets and pillows.
The Guardian (Family apartment)
Mountain and sea facing, a family apartmwith a large main bedroom, en-suite shower and oval bath, 2 single bedrooms sharing a2nd bathroom/shower, open plan lounge/kitchenette, private patio with braai facilities. Queen bed in main, ¾ beds in single rooms.
The HMS Sceptre Suite
This en-suite comprises of a large bedroom / lounge combination, which is ideal for a small family, one double bed, and one single bed. Leading off from the bedroom is a sun room with an entrance to the garden, a small kitchentte area, and a bathroom.
Captain's Cabin
Captain's Cabin is a fully equipped double storey self catering unit ideal for groups or a family. The unit has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 lounges, games room, patio with BBQ area under cover,a large garden, and secure parking
