About Botany House
Established in 2017, Botany House offers beautiful, spacious self-catering rooms to suit every visitors’ needs.
All of the rooms are themed to mirror the picturesque landscape that surrounds Hermanus – from the mountain peaks to the cool blue waters of the Atlantic ocean. Choose from the Aloe Room, Kelp Room or Protea Room for your stay, all of which are within walking distance of some of Hermanus’ best attractions.

As you walk in to Aloe Room you will be greeted by an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with an outdoor braai (barbecue) area and seating. The bedroom is neat and spacious, and offers a queen-sized bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower.

Walking into Kelp Room, you will be greeted by an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with an outdoor braai (barbecue) area and seating. The bedroom is neat and spacious, and offers a queen-sized bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower and bathtub.
Protea Room
Walking into Protea Room you will be greeted by an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with an outdoor braai (barbecue) area and seating. The bedrooms are neat and spacious, and offer a queen-sized bed in each, with an en-suite bathroom and shower.
