About Duin in die Weg
DUIN IN DIE WEG is an established guest farm with a variety of quality and affordable tourism accommodation.
It is located along the Orange River, 2 kilometers from the N10, between Upington and Groblershoop. The name is derived from our particular environment, being one of the few places where the Kalahari dunes and the Orange River meet. In the earlier years, after windy conditions, sand was blown over and covered the roads in the area, hence the dune in the road. The farm encapsulates all the contrasts of the beautiful Northern Cape – from the Kalahari dunes to the great green belt along the Orange river. This is a truly unique place where different ecosystems come together.
We have an excellent camping site and a variety of built accommodation types where our guests can relax, play and participate in the recreational activities that we offer.

D - Self-catering Room
Very convenient for a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children u 12). En-suite room (shower only) with a king size bed (or twins) and 2 child mattresses. Air-conditioning, a fridge, kettle, microwave but no cooking facilities.
E - Overnight Room
The rooms are equipped with fridge, microwave, and kettle. Air conditioning in all overnight rooms. Towels and soaps are provided as well as coffee, tea, sugar, milk and mineral water. King size bed.
A - Luxury Chalet
Fully equipped kitchen with an open-plan living area, air-conditioning, a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Area 1 - Sleeps 2 children, 1x sleeping couch for 2. Bedroom 1 - Sleeps 2 people, 1x King Bed.
F - Sleeping Hall
The dorm room is ideal for large groups. Each dormitory has its own en-suite bathroom. Air-conditioning in all dorms areas. 4x Triple Bunk Bed. Many dorm room varieties available, please contact us.
G - Camp Site
Camping facilities are situated under a forest of camel thorn trees on lush green grass. Ablution facilities are available with hot and cold water. Outside sinks are also provided with hot and cold water. Electricity is available at each campsite.
C - Economy Self-catering unit
Economy self-catering unit with a fully equipped kitchen, air-conditioning, a separate bedroom (King size bed and a bunk bed) and en-suite bathroom
