Just as planting a garden is an act of faith, so is choosing your accommodation. Desmond's garden is an attraction in its own right.

A firm mattress, free WiFi, maybe a bathrobe, space for your luggage, a small fridge, good quality coffee in your room, a hairdryer, free secure parking, possibly an iron and ironing board … At Fairview Homestead, you’ll find that and more. Our standard rooms are anything but standard. All the bedrooms are individually decorated; all have a mix of contemporary and original features. Amenities include free WI-FI, flat-screen televisions, desk, tea & coffee trays, suitcase racks, lock-away safes, hairdryers, ironing facility.


The expected time of arrival is between 3 pm and 6 pm | check-out before 10 am. Please arrange with me if you want to arrive or depart outside this time slot.

Upstairs |Queen Room
This room is upstairs and consists of two interlinked rooms- a bedroom on the one side and a lounge in the second room. Open View television. Free wifi. There is a heat and eat facility: microwave, kettle, tea/coffee station, small basin, cutlery+ plates
Annex Queen Room
Good quality extra length, extra depth mattress. French doors open onto a patio which is for the use of Room 4 guests only. The shower has no steps and is fitted with grab rails; it is therefore suited to mobility-impaired guests. No bath. No smoking.
Annex Double Room
French doors open onto a patio. This is the only room with a covered porch suitable for smokers - note that smoking in the bedroom is not allowed. Conveniently close to the parking but offers no particular garden view.No steps into shower.No bath.
