Perfectly nestled amongst beautiful Milkwood Trees you will discover a nature lover’s haven – a modern day fairy-tale tree house which is perfectly secluded. This unique wooden cabin is located at the foot of Ballots Bay close to the perfectly sheltered pebble beach and Meule River. Comfortably accommodating up to 4 adults and 2 children, you couldn’t imagine a more natural and tranquil environment. Ballots Bay is located in a private nature reserve which is abundant with a variety of wildlife, birds and fynbos. As you drive along the winding road leading you to Ballots Bay, you will immediately know that you are in for a truly special getaway. The drive itself is surrounded by lush vegetation and you will want to stop at the bridge and take in the river and waterfall on either side. As you pass through the gates and continue straight down to the bay, the Tree house right at the end on the right accessed via steep wooden stairs. You might be a bit out of breath when you reach the top but you will instantly fall in love with this piece of heaven. The spacious, secluded deck overlooks the rugged beach and river. This is the perfect place to enjoy sun downers, relax or enjoy a braai. Inside you will find a beautifully furnished open-plan living area with a lounge, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs are 3 cosy bedrooms, a main bedroom with a double bed, en-suite toilet and a luxurious free standing bath perfect for honeymooners! The second bedroom has a double-bed and the third small bedroom, perfectly suited to 2 children, has a 2 bunk beds. If you can possibly tear yourself away from this lovely haven, Ballots Bay is conveniently close to Victoria Bay – great surfing spot (10 minute drive), George – perfect for shopping and exploring (15 minutes) or you could even head further and explore Knysna which is only a 40 minute drive. This is definitely a bucket-list destination for nature lovers, honeymooners and families alike.
