About Arbour Lodge
Arbour1 is an easy accessible, centrally situated guesthouse in the luxurious, arboreous (tree-filled) suburb, Heatherlands, in George. Our convenient location (on the N12 main road to Oudsthoorn/Karoo), surrounded by the Outeniqua Mountains, makes Arbour1 ideal for businessmen and women, golf enthusiasts, cyclists, hikers, hospital visitors, sport enthusiasts and tourists who want to relax and explore the garden route. Arbour1 is within walking distance of numerous restaurants, coffee shops, George Botanical Gardens (1,5km) and George Museum (650m). At an extra cost a shuttle service can be arranged from and to the George Airport (11km). There is also 2 GoGeorge Bus Stops next to Arbour1.
Arbour1 is newly renovated and has 5 stylish, comfortable rooms with king size beds, ensuite bathrooms (with cotton towels and complimentary toiletries) and a kitchenette with complimentary tea, instant coffee, filter coffee (plungers as well), rusks and basic self-catering facilities.
Each room has their own alarm, flat screen TV, Commercial DSTV Channels and unlimited free WiFi.

Aloe Room
This is our smallest room, but has the best sitting area outside and the closest to the swimming pool. King size bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower.
Karoo Room
The King size bed can be configured into 2 singles beds. The en-suite bathroom is equipped with a walk in shower and full-length mirror.
King Protea Room
Our Honeymoon-Room. This is our biggest room with an en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath.
Overberg Room
This room has a King size bed and open-plan bath and shower in room. The toilet is closed-off. The perfect honeymoon room for a loving couple or single traveler. This room has access to the deck.
Eden Room
This is our most private room and does not overlook our main garden, but has its own private garden and braai-area. The King size bed can be configured into 2 singles beds. Two steps lead to the en-suite bathroom with a shower.
