About Markon River Lodge
Markon River Lodge is only one hour’s drive from Johannesburg. We offer a wide variety of accommodation options with fun-filled leisure activities for couples, families, or groups of people. We offer self-catering for both families and romantic couples. We have conference facilities with accommodation for 80 delegates.
Accommodation Options
Kiepersol Deluxe Chalets
A camp with 4 Luxurious en-suite Chalets (Sleep 2 each) fully equipped shared kitchen and braai. Each chalet has a cozy fireplace in the room. Each chalet has a fireplace for those cold winter evenings.
Kiepersol En-suite Chalets
The camp comprises 10 chalets sleeping each unit 2 people Additional beds can be provided. Breakfast is served with these units. Additionally, the Kudu Lapa can also be booked with braai facilities and a fridge for an additional cost.
Kingfisher Deluxe Chalet
King Fisher is a smaller private unit. Ideal for a couple or even a parent couple with a child. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the lounge has a double sleeper couch. The bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, basin and toilet.
River Camp
A camp with 5 luxury self-catering family chalets. Each chalet can sleep 6 in two en-suite twin bedrooms and a bunk bed in the living area for the 5th and 6th person. Each chalet has a fully equipped kitchen and braai facilities.
Tree Lodge
This thatched tree house comprises 3 bedrooms with beautiful views of the river. The 3 rooms share a kitchen area and braai. All 3 bedrooms are private but rented out as 1 whole unit and there is 2 bathrooms.
