Bird life is exceptional and a number of mongoose live permanently on the property. In addition, porcupine, bush babies and the occasional genet are a part of the experience.
Weekend "specials" offer discounted room only rates, in an area with great restaurants, weekend markets, running, cycling, game viewing and fine dining at the Irene Country Lodge as well as the historic working Irene Farm.
