About Lake Gariep Guest House
Lake Gariep Guest House is situated on a mountain with Gariep Dam about 4km away, surrounded by a nature reserve with panoramic views.
We offer self-catering accommodation in two 1 bedroom flats and a large 2 bedroom Backpackers Unit. Each of our 1 bedroom flats sleeps 2 guests and our Backpackers Unit can accommodate up to 8 people.
Each 1 bedroom flats is equipped with a double bed, bathroom with shower & separate toilet as well as a fully equipped kitchen.
The large, self-contained Backpackers Unit consists of 2 adjoining rooms, each with shower, toilet & basin. The 2 rooms share a fully equipped kitchen. This unit is ideal for big families, groups or backpackers.
All of our rooms are accessible for physically disabled guests as they have very few steps and large bathrooms.

Large self-contained unit consisting of 2 adjoining rooms, each with shower, toilet & basin. Shared fully equipped kitchen, coffee/tea facilities & rusks. TV & DStv (guest house bouquet), plug-in internet access. Ideal for families, groups or backpackers.
Maroon Rose Room
This room is part of the main house.
The sliding door opens onto the stoep and leads to the garden.
Guests share a lovely bathroom with the Classic Room.
