Guest Impressions

Melkhoutkloof

"Everything at Melkhoutkloof was excellent. The breakfasts were a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach. The owners went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The bedroom had a wonderful view of the sea and it was interesting to watch the amazing variety of the birds in the garden. There were special touches such as Good Morning written in the butter in the morning and a chocolate in a small box tied with ribbon on the pillow every night. A thoroughly enjoyable stay."

Perfect position at the sea

"I am sure a room cannot offer you a better ocean view: when we came into our room, the first thing we saw was a big window like a screen on two parts of the room showing dunes, sand and ocean: our windows. A plus: you get umbrellas and chairs for the beach and have a perfect balcony or patio. Wilderness is a wonderful place - do the canoe tour!"

2 Nights B&B at Melkhoutkloof Guest House

"I stayed at Mariann''s lovely home for two nights. The room had a great view of the beach, was very quiet with the only sound from the waves. It was also very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was beautifully presented with a very good selection of food and they were very friendly. I will be driving along the garden route again next year in November and I will definitely be staying at Melkhoutkloof again if there is a room available."
