About Masonwabe Retreats
Masonwabe Retreats offers two cosy self-catering cottages tucked away in the forest. The property boasts beautiful natural fynbos, indigenous forest and river frontage. There are three beautiful private walks available on the property, two are through diverse fynbos and one is through indigenous forest down to the Karatara river. The property is very wild and 'untouched', so be prepared to be touched by the beauty of nature. At certain times of the year we have fire flies, lots of different colorful butterflies, many different birds and a host of other wildlife that are mostly nocturnal. Our plans with the property are to expand over time by adding in pet-friendly "glamping" spots for the more adventurous and two more cottages nestled further into the forest. We are permaculture designers and plan to work the land to produce food for both ourselves and the animals/insects on it without interfering with the indigenous plants already established. We also plan to build a natural swimming pond close to the cottages so that you can cool down on those hot summer days with no chemicals. You supporting us now will help us to fund this project!

Sibonga Cottage
The cottage has an en-suite bathroom with a spacious shower. The bed can be two separate three quarter beds or one super king bed depending on the requirements. There is a bar fridge, small microwave and tea/coffee station.
