About Vultures Lodge Zastron

Vultures Lodge is uniquely located at the foot of “Aasvoëlberg” , with breathtaking views of the town and surrounding Maluti Mountains.

We offer you affordable AA Superior graded lodging, friendly and personal service, with exclusive outfitted double en-suite rooms, each with satellite television, private patios and outside entrances. We also feature historic cottages fully equipped for self-catering.

The lodge was named in honor of the numerous Cape Vultures that inhabited there area. Aasvoëlberg, which means ‘The mountain of the vultures’ earned its name from a natural bridge in the mountain which resembles the eye of a vulture.

Come and enjoy the quiet and tranquil atmosphere, while having a buffet breakfast in our elegant dining room, or enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee on our lovely terrace.
