Grassland Safaris is situated in the Free State province of South Africa, ideally positioned close enough to major hubs like Bloemfontein and Johannesburg to make the travel experience less taxing, but far enough to give guests a sense of being away from it all. The original farmhouse has been converted to a lodge, with all rooms being en-suite, extremely comfortable and well-appointed. Meals are delicious and will include outdoor barbeques showcasing South African flavour and hospitality. The family has strong ties to the land and the area, with the farm being in the family for more than a century. The guides target wild birds on a sustainable model as they have been doing for over two decades, with management knowing what it takes to create a memorable hunting experience.
