Lilybank Cottage

Charming homestyle cottage located in a tranquil corner of the Elgin Valley, just near the village of Grabouw, with many great activities nearby. Lilybank Cottage offers Self-Catering Accommodation for 2-6 guests. Children are welcome.

The cottage is cosily furnished with two double bedrooms, one en-suite, plus another bathroom, an open plan sitting room and kitchen that opens out onto a huge shady verandah, overlooking the garden and fields where horses, donkeys, guinea fowl, geese and many other birds abound.

We provide a light breakfast, which one can make and enjoy on the bamboo ceilinged verandah in summer. A lovely fireplace in the lounge creates a delightful “home from home” atmosphere during the winter, perfect for reading, relaxing, playing cards or scrabble.

Lilybank Cottage is ideal for families and children of all ages are welcome. It is alarmed and has plenty of safe parking under a carport. The cottage is fully equipped. There is a TV in the living room with DSTV, with the option of satellite (bring your own card). The kitchen includes a full stove, microwave, toaster, kettle etc. There are laundry facilities with washing machine, iron and ironing board.

All bed linen and towels are provided. We also provide bed blankets for those chilly winter evenings. Shampoo and soap are provided in each of the bathrooms.
