Bear Trap Lodge is situated in Grabouw in the heart of the Elgin Valley overlooking the Groenland Nature Reserve and surrounded by magnificent mountains and natural splendour. Bear Trap Lodge is the ideal base camp for mountain biking, hiking and rowing enthusiasts. Come test your limits or just kick back by the fire place and enjoy Debs' famous Gluhwein.
The Bear Trap Lodge has a homely feel with large, comfortable rooms, luxurious bathrooms and a country style kitchen. We're fully equipped for self catering. The lodge has two double and two triple rooms. All rooms have very comfortable mattresses and bedding to sooth away the pain after an active day in the mountains.
