About Ladybrand Heritage Boutique Hotel
Ladybrand Heritage House is situated in the picturesque Eastern Free State, gateway to the Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho, in the bustling town of Ladybrand. Nestled at the foot of Platberg, with a view of the majestic Maluti Mountains, LHH provides visitors with a unique combination of old-world charm and modern-day comfort, whilst still retaining the history of the old “Gedenk Kinderhuis”.
“Ons Weeshuis” was founded in 1904, after the Anglo-Boer War, during which many children were orphaned. In the sixties the name was changed to "Gedenk Kinderhuis". LHH has opened its doors in the stately double storey sandstone building which was erected in 1920.
Ladybrand Heritage House hosts luxury en-suite bedrooms with scenic views. The heart-warming lounge and dining area provide visitors with a relaxed atmosphere, where a glass of fine South African wine.
Bordering the eighteen-hole golf course of the Ladybrand Sports Club, we offer direct access to a round of golf, a few lengths of swimming, a session at the gym, a game of tennis or squash or a walk on the Steve Visser hiking trail

The GREWAR Room
This warm and cosy room combines old with modern finishes. Although the house is almost a century old, extra length queen beds, en-suite bathroom, private sat tv, wifi, coffee station, desk, towels, soaps, hairdryer and usb ports are standard luxuries.
The TAUTE Room
This cosy en-suite room compliments the old of the building with modern finishes and a view of Platberg and "The Stables". Extra length queen bed, private dstv, wifi, coffee station, hairdryer, desk, usb port and air-conditioning are standard luxuries.
The LOURENS Room
The Lourens Room compliments the heritage of the historic building, is south facing, with a view of the golf course, at the foot of "Platberg", in which The Stables are situated. The room is equipped with all modern accessories, providing a luxury stay.
The JOUBERT Room
Stylish and comfortable, perfect for a family with small children or adults that want to share. An extra length queen bed, or twin beds, sleeper couch and private en-suite bathroom is offered, with a picturesque view over town and surrounding mountains.
The STAHMER Room
The spacious and modern king room is comfortably decorated, north facing, providing guests with all modern luxuries. It is situated next to the balcony with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and garden.
