About De Molen Farm
De Molen Farm is situated in the Rooiberge, between Clarens and the Golden Gate Highlands National Park, approximately 200 m off the scenic R712 route. De Molen Farm offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in 3 rustic sandstone cottages. The farm is a working farm offering mountain views and has a stud herd of Nguni cattle and sheep.
Accommodation Options
Oak Tree Cottage
Oak Tree Cottage is a rondavel-style cottage ideal for a couple. The cottage contains a double bed and a kitchenette which is suitable to prepare a light breakfast. There are braai facilities, and firewood is provided.
Hideaway Cottage
Hideaway Cottage is ideal for a couple or a couple with a child. The cottage contains a double bed, a single bed, a bathroom with a bath and shower, and an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area.
Fisherman's Cottage
Fisherman's Cottage can accommodate 4 to 5 guests in 2 bedrooms in single beds. There are 2 en-suite bathrooms with showers, and the cottage has an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. There is a patio, and the cottage has its own private garden.
The Milkshed
The main bedroom has a king-size bed and a single bed in the same room. The second bedroom has a double bed in it. The third bedroom has a bunk bed in it, however, these are suitable for teenagers too.
